I'm a liar. I didn't update my blog on time. In between my last blog and now I have been grading, saying goodbye to my students, grading, giving finals, cleaning my classroom, reading "Bastard out of Carolina", and... more grading.
I am finishing up my second year of teaching 9th and 10th grade. I have noticed my improvment throughout the year, and it's final mark was noted by the parting with my students. Last year I couldn't wait for classes to end, and thought--Good Riddance!--to many students. I prayed they would have a long summer and forget how horrible my teaching was! As this year comes to a close, I am again looking forward to the summer, but this time I am truly sad to see all my students go...even the ones who drove me crazy! For the last week of school my board read "Have a safe, fun summer and visit me next year!"
